Connect Card

Since we believe church is a family, not an event, we want to see people get plugged in and form lasting real relationships. The best way to do this is by filling out our digital connect card so we can get in contact with you.

LifeGroups

LifeGroups are made up of about 10-20 people who meet in homes and follow Jesus together. In our LifeGroups, we seek to build relationships through regular rhythms of life by eating together, playing together, and serving together. Our LifeGroups also have weekly meetings where we share our lives with each other, spend time in God’s Word together, pray for each other, and encourage each other in our faith in Jesus.

Events

We try to provide consistent opportunities for our members and guests to connect with each other. We do this by doing outreach events, Friday Night Game Nights, and other events.  To learn more please visit our events page here.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is our church’s vision?

Our church’s vision is to be a Jesus-Centered Family on Mission, primarily in impoverished communities along Two Notch Road from Forest Drive to I-20 .  We desire to be used by God to see His will being done in our neighboring communities along Two Notch Road.

Are we campus of Midtown or a distinct church?

Midtown Fellowship is a family of churches in the Columbia area.  Currently in our Family of churches, we have a Downtown church, a Lextington church, and our Two Notch church.  Each of these churches has its own leadership, and each church is accountable to the leadership of the other two churches.

What can I expect at a Sunday Service?

Our sermons usually last 35-45 minutes, and in our sermons we aim to explain (expound on) God’s Word in terms that everyone can understand. The goal of our sermons is to help our attendees grow in knowing God and enjoy living the way that He has ordained for us to live.  We also usually sing 2-3 songs before the sermon and 2-3 songs after the sermon as a way of worshiping and rejoicing in God.

Are there opportunities for me to connect with others?

Our Serve the City initiatives are also available, where we partner with organizations throughout the city to serve those in need.

Recovery is a group that meets in a 10-week cycle to help people achieve freedom and healing from issues that seem unbeatable in their lives. Recovery is offered twice a year and is available for anyone.

How do I get involved?

To know what we’re about, we highly recommend signing up for a LifeGroup or the next Midtown Class. We also have Connect staff and volunteers in the lobby who would love to connect with you and tell you more about how to take the next steps with us.
