On March 24th, we will be hosting College Sunday during our Spring Outreach Initiative.  All college students are invited to worship with us at 11am and then join us for food, fun, and fellowship after the service.  We will also take a moment to pray for college students and give each college student a special gift.

On March 22nd at 7 pm at Royal Z Lanes on 8512 Two Notch Road, we will be having our March Game Night! Come join us for bowling with our friends at Benedict. We'd love for you to join us! If you are able to provide transportation for BC students - either to the bowling alley or back to BC at the end of the evening - please contact Dom Francis or Zack Ohanesian.

On March 21, we will be collaborating with our partners at the Benedict College Ministries to share the love of Christ and fellowship with students at Benedict College.  Come join us for great food, fun and fellowship as we continue to join God in His Mission along Two Notch Road from 7 to 9 pm. God has a heart for the orphan, the widow, the poor, and the sick. He cares for the most vulnerable and marginalized people. We want to be Christ-like and do the same. So each year, our Family of Churches rallies around our partner organizations for Serve the City Weekend. 

This year, Serve the City will take place on Saturday, March 16, so save the date on your calendar!

We will host a Super Bowl party on Sunday, February 11 at Transitions (2025 Main St., Columbia, SC). The Super Bowl party is a fun and relaxed way to get to know the clients at Transitions while also watching the game. It will consist of setting up and serving concessions, talking to Transitions clients, and playing games (if football isn’t your thing).

Please bring a snack to share. If you have a fun game to play, please bring that along as well.

The event will start at 6:00pm and end at the end of half time, but you can stay till the end if you want!

This event is for anyone 18 and older.

Recovery is a group that meets in a 10-week cycle to help people achieve freedom and healing from issues that seem unbeatable in their lives. We meet Monday evenings at 6:00 pm in our Barnwell Building at 1614 Barnwell Street. We gather for a short time of worship and teaching; then, we break up into gender-specific small groups for discussion, encouragement, and prayer.

Recovery is for anyone facing a battle in their life—personal sin struggles, dealing with emotional scars, or any other issue. It's a safe, family environment where you can come and deal honestly and openly with your struggles and let Jesus begin to heal and free you amid biblical family.

We will host a Personal Finance Seminar for our Family of Churches on January 27 from 9a-12p at our Downtown Students Building at 1819 Taylor St. Our Personal Finance Seminar is designed to equip our church family to be spiritually healthy by stewarding the financial resources that God has entrusted to us. Regardless of whether you are in college, just started your first job, or have been in your career for years and are looking for help in managing your finances, we believe this seminar will be a helpful resource to you. Our time together will consist of practical training to manage your finances, pay off debt, invest well, and practice biblical generosity.

Light snacks will be provided. Childcare will not be provided.

On Friday, January 26th from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at 2901 Two Notch, we will be having a Praise & Worship Night. We will gather as a church and have extended time of singing, prayer, and praise. We know that life for some of our people has been hard with balancing kids, jobs, busy lives, and getting that uninterrupted rhythm time with God can be difficult or impossible. Our hope is that this night would be one of uninterrupted time to for you to praise or pray in your own way, whether that’s praying with a friend or in a group, kneeling alone, dancing, or running a lap! This is your time - we hope that you join us!!

At the event, we will build Gingerbread Houses with Transitions clients while enjoying other holiday goodies! This event is best suited for anyone 18+. It is a great opportunity to meet and interact with Transitions clients in a casual environment and also bring them some seasonal fun.

We are hosting a Pumpkin Carving event at Transitions Homeless Center on Wednesday, October 25, from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm. 

During our time, we will carve pumpkins with Transitions clients and enjoy other Halloween festivities! It is an excellent opportunity to meet and interact with Transitions clients casually and bring them some seasonal fun. This year will be our 5th year of carving pumpkins at Transitions, and we always meet at least one person who has never carved a pumpkin before!

Please bring a pumpkin, snack, or candy to share. This event is best suited for anyone 18+.

Support Daybreak on Saturday, October 14, at Saluda Shoals Park for a fun, family-centered 5K! Registration will begin at 8:00 am, and the walk/run will start at 9:00 am. 

Registration is $35 for adults, and kids 12 and under are $10 (kids two and under are free). A T-shirt is included. A delicious pancake breakfast and hot chocolate/coffee will be served!

On Sunday, September 24, at 12:45 p.m. at 2901 Two Notch Rd, we will have a Host Team Training. 

Our Host Team helps create a welcoming environment for Sunday Service attendees and first-time guests. The team opens doors, welcomes guests, hands out bulletins, and helps seat people at our Sunday Service. 

Existing Host Team members and anyone interested in serving with the Host Team are welcome to join this training. 

We will provide lunch but will not provide childcare. If you’d like to attend this training, please use the button below! 

Join Epworth for its Campus Work Day on Saturday, September 9, from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm. 

This day is an incredible opportunity to serve Epworth on both indoor and outdoor projects. Your assistance throughout the day will create a welcoming atmosphere for foster parents, caregivers, and visitors.

We will host our family-friendly baptism service at Crescent Hill Baptist Church ( 2659 Two Notch Rd, Columbia, SC 29204 ) on Sunday, August 27, at 3 pm. 

We believe baptism should be celebrated. When a person comes out of the water during the service, we clap, yell, and rejoice because we're celebrating a person crossing from death into life.

On Saturday, August 26, from 1 pm - 4 pm at 2611 Grant street Columbia SC (Kathryn M. Bellfield Center), we will continue celebrating our 10-Year Anniversary as a Jesus-Centered Family on Mission by having a Family Picnic. 

Our time together will include playing kickball, kiddie pools, and grilling out-- Hamburgers, hotdogs, and a range of grilled vegetables! 

On Friday, August 25th from 6pm to 8pm, we will be hosting our 10 Year anniversary Banquet for Midtown Two Notch at 1614 Barnwell Street. This banquet is the first event from our weekend of celebrating 10 years as a church. Midtown Two Notch previous and current members are invited to join us this evening as we share a meal and reflect on what God has done in our church family through the years. We are excited to celebrate with you!

Childcare will be provided for this evening. The attire is semi-formal for banquet attendees. Please RSVP by August 13th.

For this month’s Game Night, we will be going to a Fireflies Game on July 28! We will meet in front of Segra Park at 6:45pm to enter the game together, the game begins at 7:05pm. We will be paying for the first 20 people! It’s a great way to spend time with our church family. We hope to see you there!

On Sunday, June 4th, from 2:15 pm to 3:15 pm, we will hold an interest meeting for our 10-Year Anniversary Celebration that will take place in August 2023. In this meeting, we'll discuss our ideas and how you can partner with us in this celebration. We look forward to seeing you there! 

Each milestone in a child's life can be a beautiful source of joy. Yet at the same time, these changes can leave you feeling overwhelmed and unprepared. At our Milestones '23 Conference, we will highlight core, biblical parenting foundations to help you navigate each milestone in your child's life, from birth to graduation. You'll never be ready, but you can be prepared!

We will host our Milestones Conference for our Family of Churches at our Downtown Church on May 6, 2023 from 9:00am-1:00pm. Childcare will be provided throughout the event.
