Ash Wednesday marks the start of Lent. It’s a symbolic time to reflect upon our brokenness, our need for forgiveness and the events leading up to Jesus’ crucifixion. This year, we’re offering Ash Wednesday services at two different times.
We will join as a family of churches on February 26th at 7:00am or 7:00pm at our Downtown Church at 1800 Blanding St. We will spend time singing, listening to God’s Word, and will participate in some traditional liturgical elements, like the imposition of ashes, as we enter into the Lent season. Childcare will only be provided at the 7:00pm service.
