Key scripture: John 15:18-27
Following Jesus changes more than what we believe—it changes how we live in the world. In John 15:18–27, Jesus prepares his disciples for the reality that faithfulness to him will sometimes create tension with the world around them. Yet he also reminds them that they are not alone: the Holy Spirit empowers believers to stand firm and bear witness to Christ with courage and love.
