We will be having a family friendly Sunday Service on Sunday, August 28 at 11am. Our hope and desire is to celebrate the children of our church, narrate the importance of discipling our young people, and allow them to worship and praise alongside adults. We hope to see you and your family there!
In a world full of distractions, busyness and parenting hiccups, it is so easy to lose our focus. It is so easy to forget the goal in our parenting.
Sometimes the target feels like doing everything possible to help our kids succeed.
Sometimes the target feels like striving to give our kids every possible opportunity.
Sometimes the target feels like mere survival!
But Jesus is clear that everything He does and teaches is about spreading His joy. He invites us into His joy. He fills us with His joy. He empowers us to share His joy with others!
So at this year’s Milestones conference we will work together to put our target precisely where Jesus puts His target; on His JOY. With big picture teaching and practical nuts-and-bolts training, we will help you to aim for His joy and train your children to do the same.
We will host our Milestones Weekend for our Family of Churches at our Downtown Church on May 6-7, 2022. Friday night will be a Parent’s Night Out (available optionally for conference attendees only) and Saturday will be the Milestones Conference day from 9:00am-2:00pm. Childcare will be provided throughout the event.
UPDATE, 4/25: CHILDCARE IS FULL and is no longer available as an option during registration. Parents are encouraged to attend, but will need to arrange their own childcare for the conference day.

Milestones’ vision is to train parents to be the most confident, well-equipped, joy-filled parents they can possibly be. Every year we host a conference weekend with the goal of encouraging and engaging parents with Jesus’ transformative power in our lives.
An organization called Curing Kids Cancer is hosting their annual Fire Truck Pull as a fundraiser for childhood cancer research. During this event, teams will be competing to pull a fire truck in the fastest time. This organization was started by the family of one of our Midtown members and they are asking for people to put together teams to pull for this event.

On Sunday, November 21 we will be having a Thanksgiving Service. This service will be focused on giving thanks to God for all the things He has done and is doing in our church & our community around us.
The Thanksgiving Service will be followed with a family-friendly party outside afterward. We’ll have delicious food and coffee so be sure to stick around. We're excited to celebrate all the ways that the Lord has been to good to us.

We’re dedicated to providing a place for students (6th -12th grade) to connect with God, with other students, and with older committed leaders that are dedicated to seeing students learn more about Jesus. We want to engage and reach youth culture, so we have an environment each week for students to meet Jesus and learn to be a Jesus-centered family on mission.

We will host part two of our Crafting Arrows: Two-Part Parenting Workshop on Saturday, February 23 from 10:30am-1:30pm. We are called to make disciples of all nations and that includes children. We want to help equip our church to be obedient and effective at raising children in the instruction of the Lord. In this workshop we will both examine what the Bible has to say about raising children as well as provide practical instructions, tools, and resources to help better equip us to disciple the children that God has entrusted to us.
The event will be in our Student Groups Building at 1819 Taylor Street.
Lunch and childcare will be provided for those who sign up by January 27.

Join us on Sunday, November 4 from 5:00pm-6:00pm and invite your friends to our first ever city-wide Family Worship Night. Our Kids and Families ministry works by partnering with parents to raise kids who love Jesus. One way we do that is by hosting events that help support family discipleship and keep our families connected with one another. At our Family Worship Night we’ll sing some of our favorite Kidtown songs, pray, and read scripture together.
